Futurama - Richard Nixon's Head

Good News, Everyone!

My friend spidey-dude and I have been collaborating on manipping characters from Futurama. First off, here's Nixon. Spidey-dude created the Nixon head jars and The Headless Body of Spiro Agnew. Then I complied them all together in the Oval Office. I added the Washington and Clinton monuments, the Omicronian spaceships and the $300 bill.

Here's another one this time with Wolverine. I'm not too particularly happy with this. It's just that the costume is so hard to translate into reality without making him look silly. Good thing he wears black leather in the movies.

Jean Grey - 90's Era

Continuing a series of mashing up the X-Men movies with the Jim Lee era of costumes. This was my first attempt at creating a costume from scratch. It started out with a nude model and I colored in the costume and used the emboss feature for the padding. The wrinkles and seams were painted in.

Headshot from Charmed promo. Shoulder armor was from He-Man movie costume. Arm bracelets from some Egyptian costume. Bikini armor made from a bunch of quarters over a regular bikini. Gloves were painted on over real hands using a pic of lamb skin gloves. Leather straps from various movie costumes. Sword and knife from a Halloween costume. Boots from Stargate Atlantis. And of course the body base was used by permission from Jose Manchado of DeviantArt.

This is probably my best known work. I'm sure some of you have seen it around the net. It was quite a simple poster to make but it was pretty hard for me to do because it was the first project ever completed on Photoshop. The background was created using a scratched metal texture, the 3 claw marks were from a magazine promoting X-Men 3 but I rotated it to make a "W" for Wolverine and the 3 claws were from a screencap from X2. Added some blood and then played with the coloring and lighting.
